SPPCS English Language Curriculum:
With a team of dedicated and dynamic English teachers, we aim at developing a theme-based curriculum by engaging students in meaningful and authentic learning activities through multi-modal and multi-genre texts which they are actively and naturally involved in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Promoting Well-Being and Core Values
Rooted in our 65-year Catholic heritage, student well-being is prioritised through essential virtues embedded throughout our learning environment. Through reflective projects, creative expression, and shared values, empathy, resilience, and compassion are cultivated—shaping caring, principled individuals.
Elevating National Identity and Cultural Roots
Language serves as a powerful foundation for national pride. Through literature celebrating the depth of Chinese cultural heritage, students' connection to their roots was deepened and their national identity was firmly reinforced. Complementary multicultural texts further enriched this journey, enabling national pride to be cultivated alongside an appreciation for global diversity.
